Many people say that it is a bad time to start a business when the economy is unstable. I say rubbish! In fact, when it comes to online business, the best time to start is the time when the economy is bad. I will share with you why I think so in this article. But first let me share with you that everyone can start an online business with very small investment. The third reason why you should start an online business now is that this business requires very small expenses for maintenance. Once you have set up your website, all you need to do is to spend time getting traffic to your website. Your website will act like your salesman for 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. If you are in a brick and mortar business, you won’t be able to hire a salesman that can works for you 24 hours a day – no way!

So, that is why I strongly believe that now is the best time to start an online business. It is easy to start and it requires very small monetary investment. You do need to make an effort to design and create your business website or you can outsource this to other people. You can easily get someone to set up your simple business website for less than $100. There are a lot of great templates for you to choose and all these are free.

That depends on whether you are a Sole Trader or a Limited Company. If you go Limited (which is usually best) then you pay yourself a small wage but take higher dividends.
The Book keeping will be charged at an hourly rate, so it depends how much paperwork your accountant has to sort out.

How to start up my own business with previous debt?

I would like to start up my own business in dog walking & dog care throughout the day & weekends.

I have a good full time job at the moment with a good pension & healthcare but would really like my freedom to run my own business & not keep contributing my ideas & efforts to line the big cheeses pockets!

Most people have to finance their own start ups. My husband and I had perfect credit and little debt. He had written up an extensive business plan. But it’s rare you’ll find a bank to take the risk.

We took a second out on our house and used credit cards. Once we got the ball rolling, opened up business accounts, etc., we were able to get a line of credit with the bank.

But even after a year of the business paying for itself we could not get a general loan to wrap all the debt together. You have to be in business long enough for it to start showing up in the business credit reporting agencies. That can take a while.

Not to mention, they are not going to want to give you a business loan to pay off personal debt. Have you tried other means to wrap all that together on the personal side?

Until you put a solid business plan together they won’t even consider anything, so that should be your first step.
