How to make a 14-hour flight go smoothly when travelling with my cat?
I’m finishing up grad school next year and I plan to bring back my cat from Nizhny Novgorod to Kuala Lumpur. There’s a 6-hour journey from NN to Moscow and then a 14-hour flight from Moscow to Kuala Lumpur (with a 2-hour stop over in Bangkok). So that’s a 20-hour journey overall with him being in his pet carrier most of the time. Does anybody here have a clue how to go about this?
I’ve read some ‘how-to’s online but I was hoping that some of you have had first-hand experience at travelling with cats in the cabin. What should I do if he meows so much to the point of annoying everyone around me? And would he be more comfortable if I upgraded to business class (more room for his carrier, not squished under a seat) ?
