I apply some grants to teach English in Europe. I an American and a Portuguese citizen and can work in the EU. I am preparing myself to teach overseas and make it easier for get tutoring / jobs Business English. What is the best online certification courses to take?
I recommend looking into a course in Europe rather than online. Online courses are often not recognized by employers. For one thing, you will not get the practice of teaching necessary during the course and not be noticed by coaches experience to know what you are doing right or wrong. In addition, most online courses are less than 100 hours. TEFL courses in general, are internationally recognized, provided they comply with industry standards at least 100 hours with a minimum 6 hours of teaching practice observed by an experienced instructor and qualified teachers.
